The "Seriousness of Debt" section of STOPMajdyWardah.com outlines some of the evidence from the Sunnah that proves debt is not an issue to be taken lightly.  Over the years, Majdy Wardah (ãÌÏí  æÑÏÉ) has accumulated tens of thousands of dollars of unpaid debts.  To this day, Wardah still attempts to find new lenders to give him loans despite a track record of defaulting and claims from Wardah that he is unable to repay already existing loans.

If you spend much time with Majdy Wardah, you will notice that he buys expensive items from department stores (e.g washing machines, dryers, exercise machines, wall to wall carpeting, etc.).  When it comes time to pay, Majdy Wardah will ask those with him to co-sign or put the items in their name because Wardah's own credit is ruined.  Between unpaid lawsuits and failure to pay his bills, Majdy Wardah is viewed by credit agencies as financially untrustworthy. Regardless of whether money is owed to a Muslim or a non-Muslim, it is obligatory that we pay back our debts.

Given this information, a thoughtful mind would consider two questions.  First, if Majdy Wardah has been ordered by courts to repay and has signed written contracts with companies promising repayment but has proven treacherous, what makes someone think that if they were to give Majdy Wardah money, the result would be any different?  Wardah did not fear Allaah, the courts, or these companies enough to do the right thing; a thoughtful mind would recognize that in all likelihood, they would never see their money again if they loaned it to Majdy Mohsin Wardah.

Second, it is the sole purpose of these credit rating agencies to determine how likely it is someone will repay his debts given his credit history.  If these credit agencies know that Majdy Wardah (ãÌÏí  æÑÏÉ) will not repay, what makes one think that they know better than these companies when we have less experience in such matters and less information?  Allaah encourages the believer to help our Muslim brothers and sisters, but it is a dangerous step to recklessly risk ourselves and our families to do it.

Allaah said:

æÅä ßÇä Ðæ ÚÓÑÉ ÝäÙÑÉ Åáì ãíÓÑÉ

And if the debtor is in a hard time (has no money), then grant him time till it is easy for him to repay
Surah al-Baqarah 2:280

Majdy Wardah will cite this ayah when someone has reached their limit concerning delays in repayment.  Know, by Allaah, that this ayah applies to the person that is making a sincere effort to repay.  It does not apply to those who buy expensive things for themselves (watches, rugs, etc.), then claim poverty. To learn more about the way Majdy Mohsin Wardah lives while at the same time claiming inability to repay debts, visit the "Extravagant Lifestyle" section of www.STOPMajdyWardah.com.

And know, by Allaah, that some of these brothers have waited more than 15 years to be repaid, but Majdy Wardah does not make a sincere effort to return their rights.  Beware and consider this if you choose to invite Majdy Wardah to your masjid/Islaamic center.  If you do so, you are inviting a wolf to sit with the sheep.  Allaah will hold you to account for this.  Moreover, if you associate with Majdy Wardah, know that he does not ask you for money when you first meet him.  He waits and builds your trust before asking you.

Despite what is mentioned here, if you do decide to lend Majdy Mohsin Wardah money, then you should at least have the debt written down and witnessed.  Allaah said:

O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down.  Let a scribe write it down in justice between you.  Let not the scribe refuse to write as Allaah has taught him, so let him write.  Let him (the debtor) who incurs the liability dictate, and he must fear Allaah, his Lord, and diminish not anything of what he owes.  But if the debtor is of poor understand, or weak, or is unable to dictate for himself, then let his guardian dictate in justice.  And get two witnesses out of your own men.  And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her.  And the witnesses should not refuse when they are called (for evidence).  You should not become weary to write it (your contract), whether it be small or big, for its fixed term, that is more just with Allaah; more solid as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves, save when it is a present trade which you carry out on the spot among yourselves, then there is no sin on you if you do not write it down.  But take witnesses whenever you make a commercial contract.  Let neither scribe nor witness suffer any harm, but if you do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you.  So be afraid of Allaah; and Allaah teaches you.  And Allaah is All-Knower of each and everything.
Surah al-Baqarah 2:282

Allaah is not shy to tell the believers what is good for them.  Writing down the loan will ensure your protection later if Majdy Wardah proves treacherous.  Majdy Wardah (ãÌÏí  æÑÏÉ) prefers not to have the debts written down or witnessed because that prevents people from having documentable claims and allows him to continue his mischief.  Wardah may say "We have a strong trust.  Therefore, it is not necessary to write it down."  If you trust Allaah, know Allaah only recommends to the believers what is best for them.  Even if you trust Majdy Wardah, you should not leave off what is better for that which is worse, especially out of shyness because Allaah is not shy.

Below are some of the known debts from Majdy Wardah totaling well above $50,000.  We only posted the debts that could be validated by physical proof and documentation.  Undoubtedly, there are more victims (even some with documentation) that we do not even know about.
